So I downloaded & installed the most recent iRO client… after the patch process I was stuck with 4 different patchers and 3 different clients. wtf?

Had to ask someone to find out which one of those is supposed to be used.

For some reason the clients that were installed don’t even seem to be available via patcher, did every iRO player have to re-download the complete client or something?

Anyhow, I’ve added the diffs for the clients that appear to be the current ones on my end. If you’re unsure, here’s my crc32 checksums:

A new .diff for fRO is now available

I’ve also added some new edits, most of which were discovered by the Diff Team™

Sorry for slacking off but I’ve been very busy procrastinating!

I’ve just added the latest diffs for fRO & iRO. Though I’m not sure if I’ve used the correct iRO client (2010-10-26aRagFree.rgz) because my installation seems to be broken beyond repair. Also I wasn’t able to find the RestoreWindowButtons hex for it yet — not even sure if they are missing with the current client even, although I didn’t spend much time looking for it.

Lets hope everything else is working as intended!

I’ve just added a diff for the current fRO client, so feel free to test!

Couldn’t quality-check this one in the least bit due to lack of baguette fRO account, I do hope I didn’t screw up though. :<

So I was bored motivated enough today to fetch the current Ragexe/RagFree from iRO. Turns out they’re currently the same! (That’s a good thing btw, at least for me)

Some minutes later and a diff for iRO was born.

Please note that the only char I have there is an AWESOME lvl 14 Acolyte and well… I was too lazy to test if everything’s working as intended.

So here’s where the title comes into play: You are the guinea pigs! Ain’t that fun?!!!!

No but really, feel free to leave a comment if something isn’t working as intended. Because otherwise there’s a good chance that I might never notice.

Oh and one more thing… since I don’t play on iRO I usually don’t notice when there’s a client update; so expect there to be some HUEG delays after a new client gets released.
